We are looking for a Clinical Psychologists licensed in GA with expertise in early childhood development and the focus will be diagnostic evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role combines in-person evaluations with remote consultations and report writing, supporting a hybrid work model. The psychologist will work within a multidisciplinary team and adhere to Georgia state regulations, APA ethical guidelines, and current evidence-based practices.

The job duties include:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals suspected of having ASD using gold-standard tools (ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS-2) in accordance with DSM-5-TR criteria.
  • Administer and interpret cognitive, adaptive behavior, language, and social-emotional assessments (WISC-V, VABS-3, BASC-3, Vineland)
  • Conduct clinical interviews with patients and/or caregivers; obtain thorough developmental, medical, and psychosocial histories.
  • Prepare detailed, clinically sound psychological evaluation reports within required turnaround timelines
  • Complete documentation required for insurance, school-based, or state agency referrals (including IEP/504 support letters when applicable).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including BCBAs, Clinical Directors, and others.
  • Maintain compliance with APA Ethics Code, Georgia's mandatory reporting laws, and patient confidentiality requirements.

What do you need?

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted license as a psychologist in Georgia (Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists).
  • Completion of APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral training.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience conducting ASD evaluations across pediatric and/or adult populations.
  • Proficiency with ADOS-2 (reliability training strongly preferred) and other standardized measures.
  • Compliance with Georgia's mandatory child abuse reporting law (O.C.G.A. § 19-7-5).
  • 30 CE hours per 2-year renewal cycle (including ethics CE as required by the Georgia Board).
